I have been a nurse for 6 years. I am currently working in the Progressive Care Unit at Wyoming Medical Center and enjoy it very much. My goal is to get as much critical care experience as possible. I enjoy the challenge that a critical care unit presents. I'm passionate about providing safe, quality care to my patients. I am known in previous jobs for being a strong advocate for patient and staff safety, and constantly trying to ensure both those things by working to find solutions to staffing issues. I have strong organizational skills and can see the big picture as well as focus on the steps needed to achieve it. I have had several leadership roles in my career and I believe strongly in leading from the front. I work just as hard, if not harder, than the other members of my team. I am diligent about ensuring everyone has what they need to be successful. I enjoy teaching student nurses and plan to be a clinical instructor at some point in the future.
