I shadowed 11 Certified Child Life Specialists in various inpatient and outpatient units throughout the hospital, developed skills to assess children's needs in the hospital and completed weekly developmental assessments, developed and implemented a play activity in the Atrium, and developed a child life resource focused on pediatric mental health emergencies.

I worked with students individually and in small groups to assist with the educational materials provided by the lead teacher, assisted with the supervision and care of students, and provided play opportunities for children to promote development and learning.
