I provide individual counseling services to clients throughout Virginia. In this role, I assist clients in processing their emotions and cognitions as well as continue client support through asynchronous messaging five days per week. Together, my clients and I form treatment plans to set obtainable goals. In addition, psychoeducation is used to assist clients in understanding the relationship between the brain, behaviors, and emotions. To ensure that data is kept accurate and secure, client data is inputted into a Electronic Health Record system (EHR).

I provide individual counseling services to clients throughout Virginia. During our sessions, I assist clients in processing their emotions and cognitions. In addition, I often teach clients and clients’ family members coping mechanisms and communication tools to further assist them in their struggles. Together, my clients and I create treatment plans with obtainable goals to measure progress made. These treatment plans often include using psychoeducation to assist clients in understanding the relationship between the brain, behaviors, and emotions. When needed, information is given to clients to assist them in connecting to community resources, such as Medicaid, dietitians, and psychiatrists. To extend outreach, I will provide local schools and doctor offices information regarding services offered. Client data is inputted into an Electronic Health Record system (EHR) to ensure accuracy and security of client information.
