I am an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin and I am majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing. In the future, I plan on assisting individuals with their speaking skills and being able to communicate with others. More specifically I am interested in working with individuals with disabilities in order to help them to better their futures and be able to communicate with others and achieve their goals. I have worked as a waitress and an assistant at a property tax office. And I am currently working at an after school daycare program called Earth Kids in Austin. Additionally, I have interned at a private practice for individuals with disabilities more specifically with Autism, where they provide Speech therapy and occupational therapy. There I learned that I wanted to be a Speech Pathologist.
