As a Performance Specialist at Music Celebrations International, I am responsible for all artistic details of a tour. I create and produce successful concerts for traveling ensembles world-wide and organize and manage large scale festival performances in world-class venues and major concert halls. I am also responsible for concert promotion and audience development and frequently liaise with Artistic Directors to meet their musical and educational goals through performance experience. I select, develop, and organize concert venues appropriate to each ensemble and collaboratively work alongside local and international staff. I educate the director of performance practice of touring destination while also being responsible to travel overnight and weekends both domestically and internationally to staff performance events as needed.

As Director of Orchestras and Guitar, I create lesson plans for four orchestras ranging in abilities from grades 9-12, and two guitar classes also ranging from grades 9-12. I act as an educational leader for students participating in extra-curricular orchestra and guitar activities as well as assist in setting rehearsal and performance schedules for seasonal concerts and community performances. I design appropriate content based on the State Standards for music and organize educational performance-based field trips. I coordinate fundraisers and assist in the Orchestra Parent Booster Group and also participate in Music Festivals in state and out of state. My department works as a team and collaborates on scheduling for musicals, field trips, and concerts. I direct and conduct the orchestras and team teach with my colleague while also working with our feeder programs at the Junior High. I participate in professional organizations such as The National Association for Music Educators (NAfME), Arizona Music Educators Association (AMEA) which I currently serve as Secretary and attend meetings and conferences when appropriate.

As a private instructor I work with students of all ages and skill sets. I work with students on adopting an appreciation for music, learning how to read music, and improving their skills on the violin and guitar. I also worked with various locations and businesses to set up a recital for my students so that they can receive experience in live performance on a stage with an audience to showcase what they have prepared. I use a variety of method books and music, including the Suzuki music books, Essential Elements and many solo books. I aid in developing memorization techniques, dexterity skills, and musical skills and concepts while focusing on right hand bow technique.

My responsibility as AMEA Secretary was to respond to inquiries via email, maintain general board meeting minutes and uphold accurate files. My other responsibilities included composing letters and emails to board members, sharing meeting minutes, and perform various administrative tasks.

As a private instructor I worked with students, ages 3-15, on adopting an appreciation for music, learning how to read music, and improving their skills on the violin. I also worked with a team of instructors to organize a recital for the students involved in the Suzuki program. I used the Suzuki music books during the lesson and developed memorization techniques, dexterity skills, and musical skills and concepts.
