▪ Co-implemented the first Wasted Food Education campaign for county residents. Scheduled and created presentations throughout eight County libraries.▪ Coordinated 10 recycling and food waste presentations at low-income, multifamily communities. Co-delivered presentations in both Spanish and English.▪ Responsible for tracking registrations, implementing food waste challenges, training on measuring food waste and developing and distributing surveys. Received survey satisfaction scores of 4+. ▪ Co-developed waste prevention and recycling education and outreach strategies with the Marketing team. Created plans, wrote content and developed 1st social media strategy for Facebook. Authored content for quarterly newsletter/newspaper, website, and internet sites such as Nextdoor. ▪ Worked with senior leadership to plan, design and implement the Wilsonville multifamily program.▪ Identified 25 multifamily complexes in Wilsonville and performed extensive research, collected data, tracked, and reported on outreach activities. Wrote three reports on the progress of Wilsonville multifamily project. ▪ Cultivated relations and built on environmental justice values with underserved residents specifically focusing on three low income communities, one a senior community, one largely Hispanic, and one for people with disabilities. Responsible for cold calling, emailing and making onsite visits. ▪ Developed strategies to engage community partners including local government, libraries, senior centers, and community organizations including Bridging Cultures and OSU Extension to promote and raise awareness on recycling and wasted food education.
