Kayla Sullivan started her professional broadcasting career as a news reporter and anchor for WLFI-TV in West Lafayette, Indiana for four years. In 2019, she moved back to her hometown of Indianapolis to report for FOX59 and CBS4 where she served as the Capitol Bureau reporter for two years. Kayla took a year off from television and worked as a Social Media Specialist for the Oklahoma House of Representatives. In January of 2022, she began branding herself as a mom reporter on TikTok and Instagram where she described funny and challenging parenting situations in her news voice. Kayla has gained more than a million followers and collaborated with major brands such as Dunkin’, Skippy, Welch’s, Stonyfield, Marie Callender and Sambucol. In August of 2022, Kayla began her “Kid-ing with Kayla” segment on WISH-TV in Indianapolis where she shares relatable and light-hearted parenting reports and includes responses from parents in the community. She also features other parenting trends on TikTok and Instagram in a sub segment called ReelTok with Kayla.
