Training Advisor
CurrentTo undertake a range of employer engagement and learner recruitment activities including but not limited to College and School open events, sector specific events, SFA sponsored events, etc.To undertake employer engagement and learner recruitment activities directly with employers and other interested parties. To target new and existing customers through appropriate marketing and business development activities such as cold calling. To generate leads and maximise referrals for creating apprenticeship vacancies and work based training opportunities.Complete pre-enrolment checks – company sign ups, arrange for Health & Safety assessment visits to take place, promoting the need for these assessment positively with employers. To liaise with the College delivery teams and the marketing team to develop appropriate marketing campaigns and materials. Ensure that the College meets its’ targets for work based training/apprenticeships/work placements and full cost provision, in negotiation with the Lead Training Advisor. Undertake Organisation/Training needs analysis and act as training advisor/consultant to businesses. Offer advice on training/funding available. To broker training solutions for businesses internally and/or externally to meet employer and learner needs. Be a key contact with these businesses on an on-going basis ensuring excellent customer service with an aim to exceeding our customer’s expectations.To work with other external agencies e.g. Job Centre Plus, schools, National Apprenticeship Service, probation service, to advertise job vacancies and promote the benefits of training. To offer a job matching service for employers who are looking to employ apprentices/unemployed learners.To provide management reports relating to engagement activities as requested by Academy Directors, Contract Managers, Lead Training Advisor, etc.To work closely with the Head of WFD and other employer engagement staff across the colleg
