My role at Barlow's is to develop and implement all marketing activities. This ranges from planning and executing campaigns, managing our website and e-commerce store, providing excellent customer service, tracking analytics from our website and digital marketing campaigns and producing marketing materials and literature.The day-to-day marketing activities include working on our digital marketing campaigns (social media, emails, etc.), curating content for our website as well as editing and updating the website, film and edit videos for our YouTube channel, schedule classes and workshops and create educational material for them. I also help provide support with our SEO tactics and graphic design using the Adobe Suite.

My role was to provide fundraising efforts for their organization as well as help spread their mission through the use of social media. I also researched relatable content and topics for blog posts, assisted with grant writing, helped prepare for events including their annual Gala, and created social media calendars.

As secretary, I answered the phones, provided excellent customer service, problem solved any issues that came to my attention, sent out material requests which allowed our foreman to move forward with their jobs, and organized/scanned/digitized paperwork for easy access. Additionally, I was tasked with figuring out how to get 3,000+ contacts onto one main database for the company.

While I worked here, I assisted in comprehensive marketing strategies & programs. I utilized hubspot to post content on social media sites to gain traffic and potential leads, managed campaigns based on best-performing strategies and researched and analyzed trends and updated account management on findings. Additionally, I learned about SEO tactics, including finding the right keywords to increase traffic to the site.

Monmouth University

As a campus rep, I helped spread their positive message through the use of social media and by promoting their products on campus. Below you'll find images from a photoshoot we did to help spread awareness.

I worked alongside the PR and Events departments as well as fellow students behind the scenes of this growing non-profit organization. Daily tasks included working directly with a variety of organizations and businesses nationally to coordinate food drives, media campaigns, and key events to raise food donations, awareness, and funds for the food insecure.

Assisted with day-to-day marketing efforts which include press releases, event planning, communicating with wish families and wish kids, and posting upcoming events to radio/tv stations/ town websites to help gain attention. One of the major parts of my internship was writing "Wish Stories"--stories about the wish kid and what their wish was, as well as their overall experience. These are then sent out to donors/board members and the public to show what their money went towards & how future donations could be used. It also allows everyone to see what Make-A-Wish does and the positive impact these wishes have on the kids.
