I am an experienced and highly qualified educator and Senior Fellow, with significant knowledge of accessibility, equity, diversity and inclusion and its application in higher education and beyond. I love using evidence-based practice and utilising technology to provide accessible, equitable, excellent and inclusive learning experiences and outcomes. I also excel at the development of teaching and education staff and strategy work.After starting my career in project management, I took the opportunity to move into education. I have over 20 years’ experience in adult education and training in the public, private and third sectors. Over the past 15 years I have focused on digital and eLearning. I have over a decade of experience in UK Higher Education, and over 5 years as a Senior Fellow. I earned a distinction for my Master's in 2015, which included education, teaching, technology and research. My extensive experience in teaching English and working with immigrant teenagers from earlier in my career supports my work with international students.My higher education career includes the following roles: NADSN Intersectional Lead, eLearning and academic development specialist, Equity in Education guest lecturer, manager and inclusive leader. I have enjoyed working across numerous subject areas, including Education, Engineering, Health Services Management and Leadership, Medicine & Pharmacy, and Science. I am an aspiring Principal Fellow and nascent educational researcher. I have experience of various quantitative and qualitative approaches at postgraduate level, including narrative inquiry techniques and specialist data analysis packages.I value equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility and this is reflected in my approach to colleagues, clients/customers/students and work. I am currently Intersectionality Co-Lead for the National Association of Disabled Staff Networks (NADSN).
