Previously employed at Advent Health East Orlando as a Patient Care Technician. I am responsible for the care of 15-20 patients over a 12-hour period. A shift consists of checking the diabetic patient’s sugar every 4 or 6 hours depending on the patient I am also in charge of food distribution as well as clean up. Vitals are done at the beginning of every shift and again when glucose levels are checked. I assist the nursing staff with baths and diaper changes on the patients who are unable to tend to themselves and even change their sheets if needed and by request.
