I work with Civil, Electrical, and Computer Engineering students that are primarily freshmen and sophomores. Within my role, I partner with students on academic and career decisions to help make their collegiate experience more valuable. Additional areas I support include overseeing the Omaha campus New Student Orientation programming, and Engineering Resource Center tutoring service. Additionally, I serve on several campus and college wide committees such as Grand Challenges Scholars Program, wellness, and advising assessment (formerly served as chair).

Creighton University

In this volunteered position, I over see the Theta Eta chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority. I serve as the liaison between the local chapter, and the national organization by leading and inspiring a group of 150+ collegiate women who are part of the sorority. Delta Zeta is part of the National Panhellenic Council, and is focused on being an elite women's organization that is dedicated to service, sisterhood, and scholarship. I partner with the sorority by working alongside the Executive Board, local housing corporation for the Delta Zeta House, Alumnae Advisory Board, Area Alumnae chapters, and Regional Chapters. Together we contribute hundreds of hours of service to the Omaha community, and raise thousands of dollars for The Painted Turtle Camp- Delta Zeta's National Service Project- and Starkey Hearing Foundation- Delta Zeta's National Philanthropy Partner. Much of my role is dedicated to the history of the sorority, and continuous improvement towards the future.

• Work directly with the Vice President of New Member Education to plan events, meetings, and curriculum for all new members.• Assist in overseeing a new member class of 90 women.• Attend new member education meetings, and any events or programs hosted by the new member class.• Make sure that all new members complete necessary documents and work in order to be initiated and fully recognized as an active member by national headquarters.

I have the opportunity to work with a 60 member sophomore leadership organization within the Memorial Student Center (MSC) at Texas A&M. This organization produces programs that provide experiential learning opportunities and professional development to sophomores in the Aggie community. In addition, I serve as the primary advisor to the Spencer Leadership Conference subcommittee. The Spencer Leadership Conference is planned by a team of 3 student directors and one executive and occurs annually in Dallas, TX. The purpose of this conference is to allow sophomore students to meet strong business leaders from across the state of Texas and gain a better understanding of self-aware leadership, innovative leadership, and selfless leadership.

Aggie Welcome & Orientation

• Ran the student side of orientation for 15 programs. An average of 300 students and families attended each session. My role included checking students in, providing directions to students, ensuring speakers remained on schedule, resolving problems, communicating with the Orientation Leaders, and keeping the energy high amongst the crowd.• Created Orientation Leader and admissions staff work schedules for each orientation program. This provided a breakdown of each individuals' duties throughout the day and allowed for everyone to understand who was working a specific area.• Planned evening socials for new students and their families to attend on 2-day programs.• Supervised 28 Orientation Leaders.• Planned and executed a 3-day orientation leader training. Developed the theory based curriculum to use during training, and selected thought-provoking activities surrounding disabilities and mental health for leaders to participate in.

• Planned the 2016 Housing Fair event held on Texas A&M’s campus for students looking to move off campus; event hosted 60+ vendors and saw approximately 2,000 students.• Created and followed a $15,000 budget for Housing Fair.• Designed the theme and layout Off-Campus Survival Manual publication containing information about Bryan/College Station and housing opportunities in the community. Worked directly with other graduate assistant to create visual artwork for cover and throughout the manual.• 12,000 50 page publications were printed and distributed to students at Housing Fair. Publications were also sent to a variety of on-campus offices to promote off-campus living.• Worked directly with a third party source in San Antonio during the printing production. This included all communication and logistics of approval and receiving final prints.

Ran the official Twitter and Facebook pages for Project Advocates. Also taught coworkers the importance of social media usage, and how to navigate sites.

• Primarily worked on the “Awaken Greatness” rebranding campaign for the Archdiocese of Omaha Catholic School system.• Coordinated outreach and research efforts for Awaken Greatness campaign to start collaborations with local schools, and those in the surrounding areas.• Responsible for running social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for Panda Express, Cuties Citrus, Mighties Kiwi, and Archdiocese of Omaha. Included responding to followers’ questions or concerns, writing copy and creating posts unique to each account.

Creighton University- Theta Eta Chapter

Oversaw a group of 157 women, and a 10 member executive teamCommunicated back and forth between our Collegiate Chapter Director, Delta Zeta National Headquarters and Delta Zeta Region 8 director.Served as a positive role model to the members of my chapter, Greek community, and serve as the "face" of the sorority on Creighton's campus. The Theta Eta chapter of Delta Zeta at Creighton University was named one of the recipients of the 2014 Crest Award from the National organization. This award goes to the top 10 chapters for excelling in all areas. Theta Eta has also been recognized for numerous accomplishments at the regional and university levels. Three out of the four years I was an active member, Theta Eta was named chapter of the year at Creighton University, and I was named Greek Woman of the Year in 2015.
