AgCAREERSTART is a structured program that introduces young Australians to a career in agriculture.Over 12 months, school leavers will be matched with an on-farm job, given training and development, and gain access to industry events and experiences with their AgCAREERSTART cohort.AgCAREERSTART is an Australian Government initiative, delivered by the National Farmers' Federation in collaboration with leading industry bodies.

In 2019, my co-host and I created an agricultural podcast. Our aim is simple, to create a place where the stories of agriculture are told and where the next next generation of agricultural leaders can come to discover a community of likeminded individuals. As completely independent podcasters we have amassed more than 20,000 downloads in 10 short months. This has allowed us to transition our hobby podcast into a sideline business. My co-host and I share the work of researching, interviewing, recording and managing our communications channels. In addition, I also edit and distribute every episode across multiple platforms. We also collaborate with other agricultural organisations to share their message. We have built a regular listenership of more than 750 people, produced more than 40 episodes, and developed a social media following of more than 2,500 people. We are also currently developing a podcast training course specifically for agricultural businesses. We believe in the future of agriculture.

Working in the Workforce and Business Capability Branch at DPIRD, my role is to manage the Careers in Food and Fibre project; a state government expansion on the existing Careers in Grain project to encompass all primary industries.

The Careers in Grain initiative is working to increase the number of talented people seeking and finding employment in the grains industry in WA. Careers in Grain is aiming to Attract people to career opportunities, to Upskill people who are both entering and working in the industry and to Employ more high calibre people in the grains industry in WA.As Program Manager, it is my responsibility to oversee daily operations including marketing activities, business development strategy, web management, and finance and administration.

Under the direction of the Domestic Engagement Manager, develop and implementdomestic recruitment and engagement strategy, including objectives, priorities,tactics, resources and targets for the domestic market. Liaise closely with the Academic Schools to identify, develop and promote academic programs to attract high-calibre domestic students. Support academic schools with the preparation of recruitment plans and collateral to support domestic student recruitment objectives. Counsel, and provide Tier 2 support, to prospective students on course selection and other aspects of university life providing the information required to ensure thatstudents can make the best decisions on their future. Represent the University at schools, partner organisations, exhibitions and other off campus events to generate interest amongst future students and key influencers. Contribute to the planning of and support key on-campus activities designed toshowcase the university to future students. Work with Schools and other Professional Services teams to coordinate and deliver targeted recruitment activities. Develop and maintain relationships with key external agencies and individuals to support domestic recruitment activities and assist in growing awareness of Murdoch University. Coordinate the Student Ambassador program through the recruitment of appropriate current students, participation in targeted recruitment activities. Other duties as required.

Working in External Engagement, it is my responsibility to compile and maintain external engagement material, including: prospectuses and course guides, recruitment events, and social media pages. This role involves dealing with a comprehensive list of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.

As Assistant Store Manager, it is my role to support the store manager in the day-to-day running of the store including, opening and closing procedure, administration, accounting, payroll processes, stock dispatch and receipt, customer service, and staff training and discipline.

Providing face-to-face service of customers seeking assistance in purchasing jewellery from the store. This requires a wide knowledge of all products and services offered by the store, as well as keeping an up to date knowledge of jewellery making processes. Making sure stock is presented appealingly within the store and in the windows by cleaning and arranging stock. Other tasks also included cash handling, EFTPOS, receipt and shipment of stock, and advertising.

Organising and co-ordinating team fundraising activities; including car washes, bake sales, and BBQ's. Also co-ordinated travel arrangements and accommodation for the team to travel to interstate events.

I'm currently the President of the Public Relations student chapter at Murdoch University. We focus on organising events and opportunities for public relations students, by public relations students.

Assisting the Communications Strategist to overhaul all internal communications and external PR for the organisation. This involved assisting to create a new website and providing content. Developing a social media plan and corresponding calendar. Wrote, edited and prepared blog content for the new website. Assisted in the planning of an industry seminar by developing relevant social media tactics, as well as an invitation.
