"ZOE 6/26 music premiere: Zombie Origins and Evolutions Project at HAMOC"The ZOE project is an international event in Chicago and Haiti in which artists, musicians and dancers collectively work on a series of exhibitions and a feature documentary that examines the origins of the zombie in Haiti and its evolution in America into a modern day pop culture icon. The ZOE project attempts to understand the symbolism, facts and the cultural significance of zombies.The ZOE project is, in part, supported by a generous grant from The Chicago Community Trust.
