I serve in a leadership and contributory role in original content production and acquisition processes. My scope of responsibility includes the research and verification of each IP’s profitability to generate marketing strategies. I work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Executive Producer, on contract details of content distribution (home video, OTT, EST) and involvement in selecting key creative personnel, including writers and animators, for the adaptation processes.I also lead research to identify additional revenue streams and licensing opportunities that have yet to be pitched for video production.I serve as a trusted resource for competitive market research and analysis.

During my time here, I was promoted from Marketing Specialist to Marketing Manager, and subsequently to Marketing Director. I managed seven direct reports performing marketing for Sentai Filmworks, HIDIVE, Anime Network, Maiden Japan, Kraken Releasing, and Switchblade Pictures.I partnered with C-level leadership and stakeholders in Sales, Design, and Programming.My role included content acquisition, researching and identifying content for marketing and sale to top third-party OTT services, reviewing the details of transactions, and providing recommendations. I also developed reports demonstrating ROI and promotion strategies for investors and international partners.I planned and led high-profile industry events that included Anime Expo, the largest anime convention in North America. For these events, I developed content for convention panels and served as a panelist at conventions.I applied content marketing, social media engagement, and public relations strategies to secure YOY growth in two major industry brands.Within the first six months of joining the company, I implemented Google Analytics to measure Sentai Filmworks and Anime Network the performance of each site and led a comprehensive site redesign for Sentai, including integrating an SEO strategy that improved brand awareness and product sales.My achievements included launching an e-Commerce site in 2016, increasing revenue by 45% from 2017 to 2018.For HIDIVE, I supported the development of the new streaming service, conducting research into the competitive landscape, identifying product features, and building a functionality brief and UX design for presentation to investors.

In this role, I advised clients on developing SEO strategies and content for social media platforms.For each account, I measured and monitored the impact of social media strategies impact, developing reports providing insight into key performance indicators.I also led training on emerging developments in SEO, organic social, and paid social media.
