I am a motivated, enthusiastic, and driven graduate of Oakland University, who majored in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Homeland Security and double minored in Sociology and Deaf Studies. I aspire to enter the police academy come winter and become a municipal officer. I am currently employed at the Walled Lake Police Department, where I have gained communicative, administrative, and system-based exposures/ skills. In addition, I was the President of the Criminal Justice Club at Oakland University, where I interacted with officers, agents, and students from diverse walks of life. I am passionate, devoted, and ready to serve the community as an officer, having been prepared through my diverse experiences, both educationally and hands-on. At Oakland University, I had the pleasure of attending eight regional and national leadership conferences, being awarded an outstanding leadership pin, and gaining knowledge in different realms of the criminal justice field. A proud project of mine is my Honors College thesis, that focused on investigating the connection between mass incarceration, race, health disparities, and Covid-19. Through all of my experiences and education, I am eager and ready to enter the law enforcement field, in order to utilize my valuable skillset!Top 5 Strengths: Perspective, Honesty, Fairness, Social Intelligence, and Leadership; https://viacharacter.org/
