My role at Breadware was a continuation of my previous role when Breadware acquired Medium One in 2022.During this time, I developed custom work for 13 clients, usually managing multiple clients at once. My role included balancing internal projects with these external projects. I led the development of our Ionic mobile app template as well as our Angular web template. Many times this was independent work, however I also managed interns and worked cross-functionally with our firmware team.

The majority of my role was technical, but I also interacted with our clients to determine project goals and timelines and to provide both technical and non-technical support.My technical work mostly consisted of frontend development of user portals (JQuery, AngularJS), backend development of project logic (Python), and mobile app development (Ionic). The projects I have worked on have ranged from small clients to systems that support over 35,000 users.I managed external teams, both technical and non-technical, of up to 5 people in order to complete projects for our clients in a timely manner.

One of the first projects I worked on was fine-tuning a Bluetooth Beacon iOS app, which sensed nearby Bluetooth beacons and sent the location data to Medium One. I created Python workflows to display this data as a time and location based heat map.After this, my responsibility level as an intern skyrocketed as I was given the opportunity to develop Medium One's IoT Controller iOS app, which is still available on the App Store today. This app features many widgets that interact with user's event data, including gauges, maps, and event logs. This was the first time I had ever developed an iOS app (aside from the few functions I wrote for the Bluetooth app), and since I was working remotely, I taught myself Swift and XCode throughout the process.I really appreciated the level of trust that Medium One put in me and was learning so many things, so I stuck around to intern for the following two summers.Another project I really enjoyed was when I worked with Google Home actions at the beginning of 2017. I used Medium One's Python workflows as well as api.ai and PHP in order to control the Lucis NuBryte lights.My final summer, I spent most of my time developing a web app for APSM Systems that provides factory workers with useful information about their Renesas S5D9 board and allows them to test the board's functionality. When I wasn't doing this, I was writing and recording tutorials on the WeMos ESP8266 and Amazon Alexa.

Most of my work with this company consisted of writing tutorials using the Renesas IoT Prototyping kits and Medium One workflows to give engineers IoT project ideas. One of my most popular tutorials is a Smart Door Foot Traffic Analyzer Tutorial, which graphs foot traffic through a door, and was really fun to test on my dorm room door.I also helped organize a virtual reality meetup for 30 people, and I assisted at an IoT meetup where people went through one of our basic tutorials. I was there to help answer questions and troubleshoot problems.

My general responsibilities were making sandwiches and managing the drive-thru sandwich line in a very fast paced environment (Jimmy John's claim to fame is that they make their sandwiches in 30 seconds or less). I also trained 10-15 new employees in cashiering and sandwich making, and I redesigned the condiment organization system, which increased the efficiency of our employees and decreased the clutter of the drive-thru area.
