-Structure a targeted recruitment plan, design and execute informational sessions and use campus resources and partners to market the Orientation Team Leader (OTL) position. -Contribute to the hiring process of OTLs through group and individual interview process. -Create and lead training sessions for the 2012 Orientation Team.-Supervise a staff of 40 diverse OTLs during First Year Orientation sessions.-Construct and execute a two day overnight orientation experience for first year students. -Design a one day session for first year students attending spring orientation. -Train and oversee upper classmen Transfer Orientation Team Leaders (TOTLs) -Develop leadership/training workshops for TOTLs including: resume building, transferable skills, and teamwork.-Advise an upperclassman on creating a retreat for TOTLs. -Confront students regarding judicial issues and contract violations.-Assist students in navigating class registration, fixing registration holds, and working with advisors to assemble a full schedule for each student. -Plan and execute social and office recognition events including; staff appreciation party, academic excellence breakfast and senior send off. -Exemplify customer service skills by calling students before orientation to answer any questions they have about attending orientation.-Design leadership series to aid students in their development beyond the OTL position. -Evaluate students’ experiences and produce an assessment report with future suggestions.
