I attended Tarleton State University where I graduated with a bachelor's in Kinesiology in 2021 and then continued my education at Tarleton, earning a master’s degree in Exercise Science in 2022. Helping athletes reach their full potential inspired me to seek coaching experiences to learn how to do just that. Joining the Kinetic Performance Lab in 2019 helped me gain the opportunity to train the ROTC Ranger Challenge team at Tarleton State. During this time, I learned everything I could under my supervisor about what it meant to be a great coach. Then in 2020, a new opportunity arose with the Tarleton Rodeo Team where I joined a team of coaches as a Rodeo strength and conditioning coach. As a personal trainer for the Tarleton Recreation Center, I took over training for the Tarleton Equestrian team in 2022.
