CTK has been working in partnership with Eton College, North London Collegiate, St Paul’s Boys School and Wellington College. With Google helping the project to develop a number of virtual networks for teachers. The two-year project has been investigating the strategies that independent schools utilise to ensure their pupils achieve top exam grades and secure places for their students at Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. The aim of the project is to understand whether these strategies are transferable to the state sector and whether than can they be scaled up to be made available to a wider community across London.Having been paired with Eton College, I have worked closely with their English department: undertaking lesson research, teaching at Eton and hosting exchange days at CTK. The data collected from these teaching exchanges has been analysed and fed back into the project- the final report is due to be published September 2015.
