Business Administrator
Current- Assisting the Meeting and Events manager in the running of a busy conference and events department taking incoming enquiries, lead chasing, converting sales, producing contracts and general administration
- Organising conferences and banqueting events for external parties; initiating ideas, themes & advertising the event. Working to strict profit margins and monthly targets
- Monitoring / updating advertising schedules and dealing with press releases
- Organising Weddings; Show rounds, offering advice and recommendations to potential brides, creating contracts, finalising details, summarising account balances and providing banqueting staff with a detailed running.
- Weekly updates on departmental figures and monitoring the performance of the department.
- Update banqueting, conference and wedding brochures to ensure they satisfy the needs of the customer and provide a costing that operates within the hotels profit guidelines.
