Junior Generalist
Current-Provide support for the Human Resources functions by providing administrative, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, and technical support-- assist in the updating, revising, and development of current and future programs.-Assist with daily administration of corporate, legal, and regulatory reporting requirements. -Leads efforts related to Duro Electric's apprenticeship program including by not limited to: enrollment, administration, review process, assessment of fines or penalties, answering employee questions, discipline, and tracking of both school and work hours needed for successful completion of an electrical apprenticeship.-Conducts research as needed and handles reporting for compliance requirements and KPI tracking.-Leads orientation and training of new employees- processes forms, answers policy and benefits questions, and ensures programs and processes ae up-to-date and compliant.-Assists in the development, administration, communication, and interpretation of the policies that relate to human resources.-Composes and/or edits letters, newsletters, memos, reports, procedures, etc., as required.-Prepares special reports, studies, statistical analysis, brochures, etc. per supervisor's request. --Assists with company training efforts-- responsible for research, development, and delivery of human resources and leadership training.-Distribute new and changing human resources related information.-Promote Duro Electric on various social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.-Review documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate, and submitted per established procedures, and implement appropriate corrective actions as required.-Lead efforts to maintain DORA registration for apprentices.-Act as the main point of contact for questions from employees regarding office related matters.
