I do the day to day running of the shop on a part time and seasonal basis. I work with my colleagues to help the shop run smoothly and efficiently, both while dealing with customer and while customising their pottery. I act as an adviser to our customers who often come in unsure of what they want to create, and I take hand and footprints from their babies to create keepsakes. I run workshops and parties for both adults and children, and assist the shop owner in stock control.This is a fun and creative position where I am able to help our customers bring out their own creativity.

I help with day to day running of the shop including helping customers and doing end of day banking. I open, close and run the shop when the owner is unable to. I also create items for workshops which I run on my own as well as with the shop owner. The workshops are mainly for children of all ages, but we do run adults pottery painting workshops as well. I also paint display pieces for the shop and paint customers' items when they ask for them to be finished by us.

During this time I made and sold unique wearable art online, in shops and at craft shows. Unfortunately due to my material being discontinued I was unable to continue with this medium. I am still a keen craftswoman but currently keep this as a hobby.

Note taking and personal assistant duties at meetings in schools both nationally and in Europe. This has included talking to others at meetings, collecting thoughts and opinions on current projects and ideas for the progression of the projects. The meetings and projects are focused on partnership between schools and the learning development of the children at the partner schools.

I cleaned the cats' units and made sure all the cats were fed taking into account any specific dietary needs. I also dealt with members of the public both in person and over the phone. The owner of the cattery also left me in charge of the cattery on multiple occasions when she was.

I worked as a sales assistant both on the tills and the shop floor. Working on the shop floor included making sure the shop was tidy, helping any customers with their queries and restocking the shelves when needed.
