Kayleigh is the founder of the award winning fashion brand BIND London. She also has an online fitness and wellness community, as well as being a speaker and writer.Kayleigh’s professional background is in education, with a career spanning ten years. She progressed from Teaching Assistant in 2009 to leadership in just seven years; the first teacher at her school to teach GCSE English to the SEN learners, producing record breaking results the school had ever seen. She also held the multiple roles of Head of Assessment and Head of English. Kayleigh founded her high fashion sportswear brand BIND London in 2019. BIND London combines Kayleigh’s experience in the fitness and hair industry to create headwear that protects against sweat, heat and moisture inclusive to all hair types and textures. Her brand successfully raised over £10,000 in May 2020, just six weeks into the pandemic, with support from 225 people and over 20 brands. This exposure helped her launch in February 2021 during lockdown. BIND London has been featured in Forbes, The Guardian, The Metro and interviewed by BBC Radio London. The brand has been seen on celebrities and was regularly featured on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals. In November 2021 BIND London won ‘Business Startup of the Year’ from The Precious Awards.Kayleigh is also a regular speaker for organisations and membership groups. She has used her entrepreneurial journey to speak for AllBright, Aspiring Heads Summit, F*** Being Humble, Hidden Strength, Babes on Waves, to name a few. She delivers her own masterclasses on crowdfunding, and networking, with more workshops being added in 2022. In addition, Kayleigh has combined her English teaching background and fashion experience to write articles on the journey of entrepreneurship for new/aspiring business founders and students, as well as writing about hair, fitness and wellbeing. Her articles are featured in Stylist Magazine, Black Ballad, to name a few.Kayleigh has her own hybrid health and fitness community. She part owns Next Level Nutrition Centre in Ruislip. Online she has a private community of people who engage monthly in upgrading their nutrition, fitness, mindset and goals.Kayleigh’s mission is to create more inclusivity in the wellness and business space. She enjoys creating spaces and opportunities for elevation and visibility, whether that be through fashion, or her 28 day Elevate Accountability group. She advocates becoming the best version of yourself so that by becoming a high value individual you can provide value to others.
