I currently work for Vectorply as a buyer/planner. I was also formerly employed by Snap-On Industrial Brands, within our industrial division, for fifteen years holding positions in two different departments within this time. Maintaining an eagerness to learn and also continuously strive to deliver quality care are my best strengths. I began in customer service in various roles for eight years and in 2007, I accepted a position as a Buyer in our purchasing department; I also continue to serve as the Customer Service Representative for private brands in our Industrial Division.In my customer service role, I expedited customer orders, assisted in tracking, provided delivery dates for outstanding back orders, worked to resolve any customer complaints and addressed any other customer requests in my customer service functions. In my role as a buyer, I managed a broad product line from multiple vendors. My main task was to maintain inventory levels sufficient to fill customer requirements without causing significant increases in obsolete inventory or excess stock levels. Working in two very different departments within the same company provided an advantage along with "educating"challenges! I am fortunate to have a unique perspective from each department and use these perspectives in my daily tasks. I strongly encourage cross training in any work environment because it can improve communication and promote teamwork.
