As Manager of Passenger Operations, I ensure the overall success of the Cape Cod Central Railroad. This includes providing the successful delivery of a superior guest experience on all Cape Cod Central Railroad’s passenger trains. To achieve this level of service delivery, I am the direct supervisor of the depot staff and on-board staff. I am the escalated contact for addressing and responding to Customer Service issues pertaining to the products. I work directly with the caterer in regards to food and beverage needs. I maintain an accurate Operations Plan and ensure that all departments are kept up to date with any changes. I interview, hire, and train of all Cape Cod Central Railroad staff,. I handle payroll and scheduling for them, ensuring that I am managing the bottom line. I am co-administrator for ADP and handle payroll processing. I serve as a liaison between the local community and Cape Cod Central Railroad. Additionally, I have served as the Event Manager for the Christmas trains for eight holiday seasons and consistently deliver a high quality product. In 2016, I served as Event Manager for The Polar Express Train Ride which hosted over 15,000 passengers at our successful event. In 2020, as Event Manager for same same event, we delivered a successful season despite multiple challenges. I have coordinated and managed all aspects of multiple Special Event trains including beer tasting and wine tasting trains, field trip trains, weddings and much more. I serve as Sales & Marketing Manager and I oversee the day-to-day passenger operations and work closely with other departments to guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction. I am qualified on NORAC Operating Rules.
