I graduated from UW Fond Du Lac with a general science associates degree. I am currently enrolled as a full time student at UW Oshkosh in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering Technology. UW Oshkosh is ABET accredited (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). My graduation date is set for December 2022.I have had experience working as a laboratory assistant at the Environmental Research and Innovation Center (ERIC lab) at UW Oshkosh. There, I have done a number of water quality tests(Ecoli/coliform, pH, turbidity) and bio solid tests (total solids/volatile solids, volatile fatty acids, alkalinity, biochemical methane potential, total suspended solids (TSS) & volatile suspended solids (VSS).In Summer 2021 I was an environmental intern for UW Oshkosh’s Beach Monitoring Program, where I was responsible for monitoring the surface water quality at beach locations in the Manitowoc county area. I was able to gain experience working in the field as well as performing lab analysis in the Manitowoc Health Department for presence of Ecoli/coliform. I also assisted in collecting samples for analysis of microcystin and microplastics. I also had the privilege to assist the Wisconsin DNR in data entry pertaining to my fieldwork.I am currently at Michels Corporation located in Brownsville Wisconsin. I am a summer 2022 Health Safety and Environment (HSE) intern. Some of my primary tasks include supporting environmental coordinators on construction site inspections, surface water sampling for the Milwaukee Riverkeepers, supporting greenhouse gas emissions inventory and idling programs.
