The Student Library Advisory Board (SLAB) was created to establish an ongoing, open dialog between Temple University students and the University Libraries staff and administration. The board is an opportunity for Temple students to participate in the development of new library services and spaces and to ensure that the library meets the needs of Temple’s student body. "Perceptions of Public Transportation Accessibility and Riders with Disabilities" – funded by the Creative Arts, Research, and Scholarship (CARAS) Grant• Applied to and secured funding from Temple University’s CARAS grant.• Designed and implemented a 260+ hour qualitative research project and secured Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval.• Completed 6 hours of CITI training and complied with minimal risk human research ethics.• Created recruitment graphics and facilitated outreach through email, social media, and personal networks.• Conducted a literature review examining transportation, accessibility, and critical disability studies literature.• Designed a Google survey with 12 participant responses and conducted 5 semi-structured interviews approximately 1 hour in length. • Created a codebook and conducted qualitative coding and analysis of interview and survey transcriptions.• Presented at Temple's 2021 Undergraduate Research Symposium.
