I led a small research team through the process of rehoming the archive’s collection of approximately 418 pairs of shoe into a state of the art archival facility. The process included unboxing shoes, performing conservation practices, and organization. Our project, Preserving History: Step by Step, was presented to peers, professors, and judges at the 2024 URCA Conference. My team won in the Human Environmental Sciences category.
