A few students have now started to volunteer with Boston National Historical Park. I visited another local college in March.- I planned an end-of-year volunteer party at the historic Commandant's House in December. I booked a piano player, caterer, table provider, created and sent out invitations, and coordinated with park staff for day-of event needs.- A fellow Centennial Volunteer Ambassador and I planned and facilitated a Youth Retreat Weekend that brought local teenagers to all three National Parks of Boston. Throughout the weekend the teens were able to talk to Park Rangers at different parks about careers with the National Park Service and partners, plus how each ranger specifically got their job with the park service. The teens did two different volunteer projects over the weekend as well. -
