Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport is located just minutes from Pearson Airport. With 489 guestrooms, and being named the largest hotel on the airport strip (by number of rooms), I had the opportunity to work with corporate individual travelers as well as large corportae groups who were planning conferences and events.A few of my primary responsibilities included:- Exploring the needs of my clients and working with them to help meet their travel or group requirements.- Working with travel agencies to assist in making information about our hotel and corporate rates easily accessible.- Working with IHG to setup and negotiate corporate rate agreements for large national and international corporations.- Working with local corporations to setup corporate rates

Soccerworld Hamilton is a large sports complex that was home to over 5,000 athletes weekly throughout the winter months. In addition its most popular program; soccer (for kids and adults of all ages), Soccerworld was also home to the Hamilton Thunderbirds baseball team, indoor driving range, ultimate frisbee, touch football, kids development programs, and community events, to name a few. My most common responsibilities included:- Created marketing programs and sold the in house advertising opportunities. - Completing registration for the programs throughout the year- Creating scheduling for the weekly games, and creating the childrens teams for over 8 separate leagues.- Was a leader within the marketing team to develop programs that connected the community with winter sports. - Brought a team together and made employee schedules to coordinate the weekly events- Was directly responsible for revenue management for the leagues and reported to the ownership with the successes.- Created and ran week long soccer tournaments
