Curriculum Revision & Support GTA:- Collaborated with the Biology Dept.'s Assistant Professor of Experiential Education to redesign the BZ111 curriculum, including remote and independent project execution- Designed and formalized new lab exercises for BZ111 students - Prepares the lecture-based material for BZ111 and presents weekly lab content/procedures to the other GTAs 2. BZ111 (Animal Biology) GTA:- Independently instructs two lab sections per semester, teaching 50 students in total - Plans weekly lessons based around the overarching curriculum and syllabus outline - Manages laboratory climate, finding creative ways to engage students with material- Responsible for creating, assigning, and grading quizzes, practical exams, and lab reports3. BZ478 (Biology and Behavior of Cats) GTA:- Assisted a CSU professor with the classroom management of an online-only upper division biology course- Designed and produced various extra credit assignments for students - Managed all student communications remotely in addition to grading all assignments

- Oversaw the success of the Lab Animal Resources' Cow Socialization Project by training, mentoring, and grading the progress of a group of undergraduate students on the principles of clicker training (1 Angus steer and 1 Holstein cow were involved in this project)

- Collaborated with various departments to complete five independent research projects in support of internal operations: 1) Assessment of otter habitat usage vs. visitor presence2) Redesign of their classroom program surveys to target curriculum satisfaction3) Evaluation of exhibit engagement patterns vs. attitudes and learning of guests4) Creation of activity budgets for three sea turtles5) Assessment of reptile enclosure usage vs. heat sources and hides- Formally presented my findings and suggestions for improvement to Aquarium staff

- Designed and executed an independent project to better the zoo’s functionality (Enclosure safety- I built a pulley system for the coati habitat)- Assisted Keepers with all daily husbandry tasks required for all animals (Hoofstock, Carnivores, Exotics)- Researched the Red Ruffed Lemur (Varecia rubra) and presented regular “keeper chats” to the public whilst training the lemurs
