Kaylin Strauser-Curtis, DO is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. Upon graduating residency she began her sports medicine fellowship at Penn Highlands under the guidance of Fellowship director and mentor, Dr. Christopher Varacallo. Strauser-Curtis plans is currently practice interventional orthopedics and sports medicine at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Strauser-Curtis has training in interventional and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, orthobiologic injections (stem cell, platelet-rich plasma or “PRP”), concussion treatment, and sports performance optimization.As part of the Penn Highlands Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team, Strauser-Curtis is involved in game coverage and works in collaboration with athletic trainers from the region’s school districts (DuBois, Brockway, Brookville, Clearfield, and St. Marys, including Elk County Catholic), along with the DuBois Dream, Penn State DuBois and Clarion University.Strauser-Curtis is a native of Western PA and former high school and college athlete, having competed in numerous sports during high school and was a college cheerleader at Clarion University. When she is not on the sidelines of a game she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughter Charlotte.
