MCH is a Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation Facility with the patient population targeting LTC residents and subacute rehab admissions. Wheelchair and Orthotic/Prosthetic Management, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Facilitation techniques for Complex Neurologic Disorders, SafeGait 360°, C-Mill were implemented to ensure patient centered care while addressing the goals written in their POC. Treatment sessions were aimed at maintaining or restoring function to the individuals while taking a wholistic approach to target functional tasks and abilities for the patient to continue to be as independent as possible to before being d/c to home/community or LTC. Mackenzie method was emphasized at this clinic to aide in treating upper/mid/low back pain through the use of directional preference. Thoracic mobility work was also highly prioritized at the Lattimore clinics to address not only back pain but other UE diagnoses as well (shoulder pathology, TOS, upper cross syndrome). Show less

Wheelchair and Orthotic Management, Safe Patient Handling Committee, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Medicare Documentation and Skilled Maintenance courses through Summit, Gait Analysis as well as further Tone Inhibition Techniques. Treatment sessions were aimed at maintaining or restoring function to the individuals while encouraging to take a non-traditional intervention approach at times to further motivate them to participate during therapy. Manual Therapy, specifically Myofascial Release Techniques, were performed on many, if not all, our patients in hopes of reorganizing the fascial compartments in order to free up structures that were bound down, improve ROM and aim to decrease overall pain response.
