Harrogate Gymnastics is already well established in many disciplines including artistic gymnastics, tumbling, trampolining, acrobatics, and more. Interest in cheerleading has been growing significantly in the UK. I am so excited to be starting this new program from the ground up and getting to coach cheerleading again! We currently have 2 recreational classes: ages 6-9 and 10+. We plan to start competing in 2021!

I have the honor of working for my family business and seeing it's evolution since I was a young child. I've seen firsthand how our core product, Insurance Answers Plus, has become more sophisticated and expanded into over 2,000 dental offices throughout Texas and Oklahoma over the years. It is now my responsibility to identify new ways of serving our IAPlus client base, through enhanced features as well as additional products and services. The most important part of my job is listening to clients and employees, compiling data, and making strategic decisions. I enjoy developing business relationships and forming new partnerships for exciting new projects in the dental insurance software industry.

I am taking courses to enhance my general knowledge in subjects like marketing, finance, operations, and management. In my entrepreneurial classes such as Social Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation, I pitched a business idea, recruited a team, and took the first steps in creating a business including talking to potential customers and the beginning stages of developing the product.I hold an officer position in the Entrepreneurship Society. My key role was planning and organizing many events, the largest of which was the SXSW Business Plan Competition. We hosted MBA students from top programs around the country at McCombs. I managed a team of 6 other officers to raise more money and recruit more teams and judges than previous years. I am the President of the MBA Christian Fellowship. My goal is to provide opportunities for believers in Christ at McCombs to connect with God, each other, and Christian business leaders. I am also involved in organizations on campus such as Graduate Women in Business and Net Impact to develop my professional network and learn more working for start ups in the social impact sector.In the Spring 2015, I worked with a team of MBAs on a micro-consulting project for Umbel in Austin. We analyzed the competitive landscape of Big Data and Data Management Platform companies. We also looked at trends in this industry for VC funding and concluded our project with a summary presentation.

At Sportech, my main functional area was in the accounting, book-keeping, and receivables collections. I also assisted the CEO in business development, product planning, and marketing. I gained valuable experience of running a business during an interim period when the owners were out of the country. Finally, I was a key manager in planning a large annual event, focusing on staffing and budgeting.In addition to the business roles I held at Sportech, I was able to tie in my passion and expertise in cheerleading and gymnastics to coach kids and young adults of all ages and experience levels. I thrived in this leadership role, as a strong motivator and enjoyed seeing the tremendous improvement in my athlete's skills.

I worked as full-time employee for Dental Systems during the year and half period mentioned, but have done consulting and auditing work for the company on and off for four years. As this is a family business started by my parents, I have an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities that executives are faced with and have been able to impact key decisions made by management. Not only did I achieve great success in getting the accounting department and processes up to speed, but I also excelled many cross functional areas such as sales, marketing, and general management. One unique project I managed was moving 44 employees from a traditional office setting to a virtual work environment. I also managed a project to revamp the website and increase social media visibility.

At Moss Adams, I spent the majority of my time as an audit associate working primarily on the firm's largest clients in the technology and M&D. I was part of a rotational program, which allowed me to prepare tax returns and do tax planning during the tax busy seasons. I had a broad experience in preparing returns from high net worth individuals to public, global corporations and everything in between. While at Moss Adams, I was a peer mentor, trainer, and held leadership roles in the social community and the women's initiative group.
