As general manager I was responsible for the maintenance, quality, and production of the store.I oversaw balancing the safe daily, ordering supplies from Sysco based off of sales, making the schedule bi-weekly, training incoming employees, help promote the store by handing out samples to businesses, gave repeat customers a free sandwich card, counting drawers, filling out paperwork and checking other managers paperwork to make sure they filled it out correctly, interviewing new hires, counting inventory weekly and entering into Sysco’s system, handling customer complaints through emails or by phone, getting change for the store from the bank weekly, opening/closing the store when necessary, and taking deposits to the bank daily.
