*All thoughts, views, and opinions on any of my social media platforms are my own and do not reflect those of my past and current employers*Hey there, I am Kaylynn Lorene Hill (Rimblert) (she, her, hers), I am currently a graduate student at Xavier University where I study clinical mental health counseling. I have developed a diverse portfolio of experience and demonstrated knowledge of student affairs (higher education), communication(s) and social services. I have obtained many roles that have provided skill building, training and leadership experience in areas such as; student services, clinical research and teaching, communication (social media management and coordination, marketing, graphic design, public relations, radio and film), case management, event coordination and programming in NFP and NP organizations. While I do enjoy these aspects, I am more interested in pursuing a career in higher education and mental/behavioral health. This way I am able to truly use my knowledge and experiences and blend them together in order to positively effect the lives of others and expand understanding.A significant reason why I decided to enter into the mental health field is due to my love and curiosity for others. I enjoy learning about different cultures and religions as well as reading, traveling, trying new foods, cooking, laughing, shopping, meeting new people, and most of all spending time with friends and family. Now, the hard question... what do I want to do with my life? I'd be lying if I said I knew for sure. Of course, I am in school to become a licensed therapist, but, I only see this as part of my journey to my dream job. Now, what's the dream job? I. HAVE. NO. CLUE! Clinical Psychologist? Maybe. Psychiatrist? Possibly. Neuroscientist? I'll think about it. A fulfilling career that makes me happy? A MUST!
