CurrentCollaborate closely with the Creative Director to define and execute The Academy’s brand vision, shaping the overarching visual aesthetic for The Academy and Oscars. Lead the development of innovative, high-quality creative for multi-platform global campaigns, setting new standards for the Academy's visual communications. Generate key ideas and work cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, IT, Membership, Legal, and Senior Management to elevate brand standards and achieve strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:- Conceptualize, design and oversee the production of step and repeats for high-profile Oscar season events such as the Governor Awards, Nominees Luncheon and Oscars Press Rooms- Provide art direction for high-profile portrait activations like the Governors Awards Portrait Studio, achieving over 10 million impressions and becoming a 12th Annual Shorty Awards Finalist- Help lead award-winning key art and campaign creative for Oscar Season, designing high-impact visuals across multiple mediums.- Enhance the digital experience for over 9,000 Academy members across desktop, mobile, tablet, and smart TVs, aligning with brand guidelines.- Partner with Membership, IT departments and Microsoft to develop and lead design of the Academy Member App and the Academy Screening Room, a member-only streaming platform.Achievements:- Developed the concept, visual design, and art direction for the 90th Anniversary Oscars Campaign and designed key art featuring Jimmy Kimmel, achieving global distribution to 225 countries and winning a Gold Graphis Award.- Led the launch of the Official Oscars Store, including its eCommerce site and Pop-Up Store, overseeing renovations, logistics, visual merchandising, vendor sourcing, and product development for a 40- item merchandise line, ensuring brand alignment.- Collaborated with PwC, Academy leadership, and developers to lead the redesign of the Academy's online voting site, enhancing functionality and user experience.
