I sold machine tools and related accessories, both metal working and fabricating. My 2 semesters of Machine Shop at the Richmond Technical Center gave me an appreciation for the skill and precision that goes into manufacturing a product to print. I was in the first graduatng class, and the only female, in the Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer certification program and was active in the local SME Chapter for many years, mostly as program chairman.
