The Assistant Director of Development is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting leadership level annual gifts to support the University of Delaware's special programs and initiatives. Chief among these initiatives is the Biden Institute - a research and policy center, founded by former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, III, aimed at providing solutions to the pressing domestic policy problems facing our nation. In addition to managing a pool of leadership annual giving donors and prospects (with a special focus on increased acquisition and retention), the Assistant Director is responsible for upgrading leadership annual giving levels and developing a pipeline for major, principal, and planned gifts, while ensuring smooth transitions between programs.

The Director of Operations will oversee the daily operation of the recruiting office, as instructed by the coaching staff. This position will also plan and coordinate Community Relations and work with different areas in the community and create volunteer opportunities for the student-athletes. This person will oversee all aspects of recruiting within the sport program. This includes planning and coordinating recruiting visits, coordinating the recruiting database and mailing system. This position will travel with the team and assist with all logistics as it relates to travel and coordinate team video needs.
