I lecture courses in mass communication, journalism and academic writing. I also assist with student advisement. I focus on the use of social media in the delivery of several of my courses.

I provide services in the areas of media relations, speech writing, substantive editing and social media management.

I provided tutorial assistance to MA mass communication students at the Champs Fleurs campus from 2011 to 2015. I taught courses in journalism and academic writing at the media-focused Port of Spain campus from 2007 to 2011. I've also taught courses in business communication.

I developed and delivered "An Introduction to Ethics in Journalism", a three-week online course organised and hosted by the Association of Caribbean Media Workers and the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas.

I was responsible for publicizing the Ministry's activities and services through traditional media, new media and public outreach events.

I taught secondary school English and Literature.

I worked as a news reporter, and later joined the newspaper's Sunday desk.

I freelanced with the Express's youth-focused Vox Magazine in my late teens, and my work culminated in a brief stint as editor of the magazine, and a year-long position as a junior reporter.I left the magazine to attend UWI in 2002, but remained an active freelancer with the paper for the next 5 years.
