I am presently a Master of Research student in Western Sydney University, to conduct research in the field of geotechnical engineering, by researching on chemical stabilisation of soil. I also work casually as a Geotechnician at Benchmark Geotechnical, where i worked majorly in the soil laboratory, conducting soil tests. I previously worked as a trainee under the Technical Skill Acquisition Program (TSAP) of IHS Towers, where I undertook an On-the-Job Training (OJT) exercise as a Field Service Engineer (FSE). I worked as a civil engineer (in training) at Boutrose Technics Limited, under well-structured and coordinated supervision. I did mostly geotechnical related jobs, ranging from field geotechnical investigation exercises, soil laboratory result analysis, to report writing. My team and I also carried out integrity test on existing building, design and construct foundation.Before my engagement in Boutrose Technics, I completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree with first-class from Landmark University, Omu-Aran (2020). During my undergraduate program holidays, I worked with Niyi Jolayemi Company (2015 – 2018) as an industrial trainee in the land survey department. I often went to survey sites to carry out simple survey works and also as a chainman. I transitioned into geotechnical engineering during my undergraduate student work experience program, where I worked with Makin Engineers (2019), and continued there even after graduation, until I went for my compulsory one-year national youth service (2021). My undergraduate thesis research built my research prowess, which led to my first co-authored publication on European journal of environment and civil engineering.In addition, I possess various software and computational skills in computer aided drawings and Microsoft packages.In all, I see myself as a prolific individual encompassed within knowledge, versatility and expertise, aiming towards exploring the modern world by solving critical issues through and with sustainability. I am also a very passionate prospect Civil Engineer, striving to solve life problems and make life better through all civil engineering areas. I am presently versatile with geotechnical engineering operations due to gained work experiences and still passionate about venturing into other areas in civil engineering.
