Kayode was a contestant on BBC's flagship programme, The Apprentice (Series 14). He won 4 out of 7 tasks, once as PM (putting himself forward on the first task) and again as Sub-team Leader, before unfortunately being fired in Week 7. He also came back for the final where again he made a significant impact.However, he was arguably the most popular candidate on this year's series, described as "not winning the show but winning the heart of the nation / the people's vote" and he was praised highly by Claude Littner.In 2020, due to COVID-19, BBC The Apprentice did not take place. However, they did a "BBC The Apprentice: The Best Bits" Special where Kayode opened the show, being the first "Most Notable Candidate" out of the 246 Candidates in the show's history (est. 2005) (See video below).

After delivering a speech and becoming elected the 2013 Annual Conference, Kayode was a Director of the National Union of Students (NUS).This is an organisation that represents over 7 million students across the UK, and worldwide, with an annual turnover of more than £12 million.As the Board of Directors, they were responsible for the financial and administrative affairs of the NUS. Kayode was selected by the Board to sit on the Nominations Committee deciding the recruitments if the NUS.

Kayode was an Official Camp America Interviewer in the Cheshire region. He was responsible for the pre-screening of potential applicants during a 45-60 minute interview, followed by completing a detailed report on the applicant. These reports were read by Camp Directors in America to decide placement of the applicant at their Summer Camp. Kayode then remained the main point of contact for each applicant throughout the Camp America application process.
