    The Washington Homeland Security Roundtable™ is a consortium of firms actively engaged in the Homeland Security market with Department of Homeland Security and partner agencies. We serve as a liaison between industry and DHS, helping members engage and build relationships with key staff throughout the Department. We have developed a setting that fosters open conversations between WHSR members and DHS to establish how industry can better serve the needs of DHS in the specific department or mission area being represented. Our intentionally limited group size encourages candid discussions and allows industry representatives to better understand the unique needs and challenges of DHS. WHSR is the only trade association to hold the following signed agreements:- MOA with DHS TSA for Industry Engagement - MOU with CBP for the Border Patrol Industry Academy- MOU with USCG for the U.S. Coast Guard Industry AcademyIn addition to these distinctions, we conduct ongoing initiatives with various DHS agencies. We regularly partner on industry programs with the DHS Management Directorate, TSA, CISA, ICE, USCG, CBP, USBP, S&T, HSI, and CPO. The WHSR Coast Guard Industry Academy Cohort 1 (CGIA1) in conjunction with the U.S. Coast Guard kicked off in November 2017. CGIA2 completed in 2023, and CGIA3 will kick off in May 2024. My background in consulting and strategic development has been instrumental in the formation and growth of WHSR. Through our work as a critical link between DHS and industry partners, I've cultivated strong relationships in both spheres. Through this network, I've participated in groundbreaking partnerships and initiatives, including serving as Customer Liaison for many of DHS’s largest and most comprehensive technology procurements.
