I'm a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Microbiology major and a an art minor. I’ve worked in the past as a research assistant in different oncology focused laboratories, however I still remain a fervent microbiology student. From my background in some coding. I’ve started to fall in love with the data that researchers have generated and working together to answer the research questions behind their work. I hope to indulge in this pathway and grow as a data scientist and be an integral part of capturing the results in many ways and help provide solutions to the problems that occur. From my previous experience as a junior bioinformatician, I work on improving to learn programming languages such as Linux, WSL2, Python and R. Along with other analytical techniques for research, I would to see how coding and the data we have could influence the future of medicine.My current interests are in biomedical research, data science, biotechnology, and educational projects. I hope to connect with such opportunities!If I am not studying, I enjoy doing animation and illustration. I’m in the process of working on my workflow for 2D animation and building my 3D asset portfolio in both Maya or Blender.
