My name is Kayra Ideus, and I am a Business student ready to explore and learn in new opportunities and environments. With passions both in global business and marketing, I aim to utilize both these areas and hope to add to the creative market pool already existing in various professions and businesses. Growing up internationally, I have been able to explore languages, cultures, and ideas that have inspired me to keep an open mind and think creatively. I was in Cairo, Egypt, and lived there for eight years until eventually moving to Italy for three years, and ultimately ending up in the U.S., where I have been for the past ten years. Moving across continents, I have been able to learn languages such as Italian and French, and I have made it my goal to continue exploring new languages, adapt to new environments, and foster creative thinking.During the time between my senior year of high school and my sophomore year of college, I worked as a cashier and kitchen staff member in a café, where I gained memorable experience working as a team with my co-workers, actively communicating with customers, and remaining organized while under high demand.Currently, I am pursuing a degree at The University of Texas at Dallas, where I am double majoring in Marketing and Global Business at the Naveen Jindal School of Management. I have been enjoying meeting new people and collaborating with them. In the future, I hope to work in a role that allows me to pursue creative projects and travel internationally for business.
