Kay is a seasoned business and human resources executive with more than 30 years of experience in human resources spanning key HR disciplines at all stages of an organization’s growth. She prefers the start-up/early stages and high growth phases of the organization’s lifecycle for the faster pace and greater opportunities to experiment and learn. She’s participated in multiple start-ups and in multiple M&A transactions on both sides of the equation, buy side and sell side, participating in or leading due diligence efforts for HR and administrative functions, as well as leading employee integration activities post deal closure. Kay has had the opportunity over the course of her career to combine her passion for effective people solutions, an intense curiosity for how things work and experiential design, to successfully claim oversight of other cross functional areas. These areas include operations management and customer service with full P&L ownership, quality assurance, safety, procurement, facilities, IT services and security, and corp compliance and legal. Her many years of experience in executive leadership have spanned a variety of business and industry sectors, including SaaS technology, manufacturing, aerospace engineering, telecommunications, cable TV entertainment, retail, travel and consumer services.With her broad experience in HR, customer service and operations management, and a single-minded philosophy that “employees give what they get,” Kay’s teams have fueled award-winning cultures and a customer service model garnering industry toppling net promoter scores consistently in the high 80’s. Kay is a former finalist for the prestigious ABJ Profiles in Power Award and has a passion for developing women in leadership roles.
