Awarded, Employee of the Year for 2021.Awarded, Employee of the Quarter(Q2) for 2021.I recently completed One Yield (Marriott's Revenue management software), certification exam.During this transitionary time, as hospitality begins to rebuild after the peak of the pandemic, I continue to assist at the front desk, training new hires in proper front desk protocols and working front desk shifts when occupancy rises, all while maintaining previous group rooms tasks. My group rooms responsibilities consist of managing group room blocks through the Marriott’s property management systems. This includes building group rooms blocks, managing group inventory, billing, pre-arrival and post departure tasks. This can also include entering rooming lists and creating and modifying reservations. I work closely with the Sales team to ensure client’s group rooms needs are met and that information is disseminated appropriately through relevant departments within the property. I also work more directly with clients, than previously, to assist the Sales department - answering questions, making adjustments to their group blocks and generally assisting with any obstacles that may arise.

I have been lucky enough to be brought back to the Hartford Marriott team as a front office supervisor, after the Coronavirus pandemic began!I am still working as Group Rooms Coordinator at a lesser capacity, while also performing front desk tasks.
