Forvis Mazars is the result of the global network between FORVIS and Mazars. I began working for FORVIS, formerly known as BKD in September of 2021. Although our name has changed, my responsibilities remain the same. I prepare and review business and individual tax returns of various complexities. I also work directly with clients to retrieve their tax documents and keep them informed about the status of their returns.

As an RPA I worked closely with the accounting department at American Fidelity. Using my UiPath training, I had the opportunity to automate a few of their historically manual processes. I also took over some data entry jobs in my spare time to lower the workload of the full-time employees.

This was my second summer as a youth intern in Weatherford, OK. My responsibilities were similar to last year, but with the additional challenges brought on by COVID-19. I learned to use online resources and be flexible while abiding to the constantly changing health suggestions. We constantly learned better ways to improve interaction with students in the church.

I helped the ministry team plan and supervise a wide range of events including summer camp, a mission trip, lock-ins, volunteer days, and bible class. I learned how to simultaneously be personable with the students and demonstrate my authority.

During my first summer while in college, I had the opportunity to serve as a Public Banking Associate. I learned responsibility as limited mistakes are tolerated while dealing with customers money. I practiced banking with both small individual clients and large businesses.
