I’m a nationally registered EMT who majored in biological anthropology, and double minored in Chinese and biology during my undergraduate years. I have a strong passion for community outreach, and working with underserved communities to better healthcare literacy is an area of interest of mine. Our duty to help the citizens we serve extends beyond emergency settings. It is my opinion that understanding the cultural, socioeconomic, sociopolitical, and racial disparities in healthcare is key to providing the most comprehensive/patient-centred treatment to patients.
